Your participation is month to month. You are not required to participate every month.
Each month will have a cycle. Here’s the cycle:
Mail out your ATC before the end of the current month so we can receive them by the announced deadline the following month. The next theme is announced usually the same day that we exchange the ATCs and mail them to you. We do send an email to you to confirm that your ATC has been mailed. The following month the cycle starts again. ATCs are received by the deadline and an email is sent out as confirmation of receipt. Then an email goes out to announce the next theme.
If you are bringing in your ATC, please bring them in by the announced deadline. Please still include postage and an appropriate mailer (see below) to mail your ATC even if you are a walk in. No walk in pick-ups are allowed. Everyone will have an ATC mailed to them.
Here are the ATC guidelines:
Each ATC must measure 2.5” x 3.5” Landscape or portrait is acceptable.
The following information needs to be on the back: Title, Name, Date, Theme, Event (Purple Pinky Promises ATC Exchange), Email (optional), and the number of your ATC. The June 2025 ATC will be #1. July will be #2, etc. There is no need to buy an ATC stamp to stamp the back of your ATC. I showed you how you can create your own on this YouTube video (at 8:16).
At this time, you can send in two ATCs. One for me and one for another participant. If you send me one, you will get one in return from me. Once we get more participants, more ATCs may be added.
Please include the following: a self addressed adhesive label (not attached to the envelope-leave the backer peel on), an envelope, the postage required to to mail your ATC (not attached), and cover your ATCwith a plastic cover (similar to this). If you do not have this type of cover, you can place it in an A2 card sleeve and wrap it around the ATC. If your ATC has a lot of dimension, instead of an envelope, please include a bubble mailer. You will need to include the postage required to mail the ATC as a bubble mailer. This can be handled at the post office. If your ATC repeatedly has extra postage, you will receive an invoice from us once it hits a $3 balance. We kindly ask that you responsibly include the necessary postage, as this creates an added layer of work to something that is being arranged at no cost to you. If your invoice is not paid, your next ATC will not be mailed until the invoice is paid. After 2 months of an unpaid balance, the ATC will be given to a walk-in participant and your participation will not be granted until the invoice is paid.

For those new to an ATC exchange, here is some important information:
An ATC is not to be sold, traded or given away once it is received. Especially because the artwork was not up to your standards. I still have ATCs from a group exchange that were not my personal taste, but the memory of the exchange and the people in the group are special to me.
Please do not turn in a card with little to no effort involved. This doesn’t mean you have to have professional looking artwork. Just keep in mind that others are giving their ATC their best effort and you should as well.
There is no need to email me and let me know that you are participating. The receipt of your ATC is all we need. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out.
